Negative Reviews For X-Men : Apocalypse

X-Men Apocalypse has not been released for the general public and critics who have seen early screenings for the movie are already releasing negative reviews. Here’s what critics have to say :

Forbes showed no mercy on their headline by stating that it was a “franchise killing disaster” also stating that “X-Men: Apocalypse is the kind of weightless, soulless trifle of a bore that makes comic book superhero movies look bad”

The Telegraph said that it was “as bad as Batman V. Superman”

The Guardian stated that it needed better character development by stating that “future X-Men films have to mutate into something with fewer characters and more characterisation.”

And IGN stating that it “falls somewhat short”

X-Men : Apocalypse currently has a Tomatometer of 44% and a Metascore of 50.

These reviews will likely hurt the movie’s box office numbers but plenty of fans of the series are still hopeful that the movie isn’t as bad as what the critics are trying to say. X-Men : Apocalypse is set to hit the silver screen on May 27, 2016 and I’m lowering my expectations for it.
