In this episode of Cinematography Database Show we break down the cinematography of the feature film Drive, shot byNewton Thomas Sigel. Drive was a highly requested film and I’m glad the community pushed me to watch it and to break it down.
This video break down is my “read” and interpretation of the high level cinematography used to support the narrative and emotional tone of the movie. I didn’t interview the director or the DP, I’m using my knowledge of film theory combined with my experience from working on set to present a possible meaning behind the camerawork and lighting. If you have a different point of view or you disagree, great!
